Spent Thursday in Boise listening to how important it is to follow through with the federal mandate for a complete governmental takeover of the Medical Insurance industry and the delivery of health care. (Never mind that Idaho WON its lawsuit regarding the constitutionality of the mandate!) The bureaucracy in Idaho believes that it's better to have Idaho's bureaucracies control the industries than let those nasty ole federal bureaucrats have all the fun. If the federal bureaucrats are going to dictate to the state bureaucrats each element of the process, it boils down to one thing: More intrusive bureaucratic regulations. Bigger and more expensive bureaucratic institutions.
